Medical cover for events
Concert, festival, sports event, corporate day or ceremony – the cover plan is written for your venue and programme, not taken off a shelf.
Why does an event need medical cover?
Wherever a crowd gathers, medical help will be needed sooner or later: heat exhaustion, faintness, a fall, an injury, intoxication, and occasionally a genuine emergency. Event medical cover means nobody has to wait for an ambulance to arrive – the crew working on site steps in immediately.
In Hungary, medical cover at events is subject to legal requirements, and the level needed is determined mainly by the number of participants and the nature of the event. The licensing authority may ask the organiser to prove that cover is in place – we provide a written quote and contract for exactly that.
What the cover includes
- A conversation and a plan: from a site visit or a site map we agree where the unit stands, where the entrances and exits are, and how the ambulance gets in and out.
- Crew: paramedic, senior paramedic or doctor, in a make-up scaled to the event.
- Vehicle standby: a basic or advanced life support ambulance, if transport may be needed.
- Documentation: every case treated on site is recorded.
For multi-day programmes or several venues we work with more than one unit and with shift changes.

How we work
Enquiry and consultation
For a quote the date, the venue and the expected headcount are enough. If you have a detailed programme or a site map, we will look at those too.
Recommendation and written quote
We recommend a level of cover – foot patrol, basic ambulance or advanced life support unit – and put it in a written quote.
Setting up on site
The unit arrives before the event starts, takes up the agreed position and makes contact with the organiser and the security team.
Cover and documentation
During the event the crew works on site. Cases treated are recorded, and if needed we arrange the patient’s transport.
Ask for a quote for your event
Send us the date, the venue and the expected headcount – we will reply with a quote and a recommendation on the level of cover.
