Privacy notice
What this site asks for, why, how long we keep it, and what you can do about it.
Last updated:
1. Who is responsible
Medibem Ambulance Kft.
1135 Budapest, Béke utca 106. 1. emelet 1. ajtó, Hungary
Email: info@medibem.hu
Phone: +36 70 500 4372
2. What we collect, and why
This website collects personal data in exactly one place: the quote request form. What you enter:
- name
- phone number
- email address
- type of event or transport
- date
- expected number of people
- location or route
- details of your request (free text)
Purpose: answering your enquiry and preparing a quote.
Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), given by ticking the checkbox on the form, and taking steps prior to entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
Please do not enter health data in the form — neither your own nor anyone else’s. It is not needed for a quote. Anything concerning a specific patient is better discussed by phone.
3. Who sees it
- Web3Forms (Web3Forms LLC) — handles the technical delivery of the form, forwarding what you submitted to us by email. It acts as a processor, and the transfer may involve countries outside the European Union.
- Our email provider, which hosts the info@medibem.hu mailbox.
We do not sell your data, do not pass it on for advertising, and do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
4. How long we keep it
We keep the email containing your enquiry for as long as handling the matter requires, and for as long as legal and accounting obligations arising from any resulting contract demand. If no engagement follows, we delete the enquiry within 2 years at the latest.
5. Cookies, analytics, tracking
None of them. This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads no third-party tracking scripts. Fonts are served from our own server, so they do not report to anyone either. That is why there is no cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.
The server keeps a technical log, as every web server does, which may include your IP address and the time of the request. This is necessary for operating the service securely (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
6. Your rights
You may request access to your personal data, its correction, its erasure, restriction of processing, you may object to processing, and you may request data portability. You may withdraw your consent at any time — this does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.
For any of these, an email to info@medibem.hu is enough. We will respond within one month at the latest.
7. Complaints
If you believe the processing is unlawful, you may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority:
Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH)
1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9-11., Hungary
Postal address: 1363 Budapest, Pf. 9.
Phone: +36 1 391 1400
Email: ugyfelszolgalat@naih.hu
Web: naih.hu
You may also go to court, including the court with jurisdiction over your place of residence.
