Mobile patrol with an ambulance

A mobile patrol means an ambulance stands by at the event with its crew. There are two levels to choose from, and the difference is not only the vehicle: it is the make-up of the crew and the level of the equipment as well.

Advanced life support unit (esetkocsi)

The advanced unit is the higher level: it typically works with a 3-person crew that includes a senior paramedic or a doctor, and it arrives with equipment for advanced care. Its place is where the crowd is large, the risk of the programme is higher, or where treating a serious case has to begin on site.

Basic ambulance (mentőgépkocsi)

The basic ambulance is the smaller — and often entirely sufficient — option: a 2-person crew with a paramedic, basic life support equipment and the ability to transport a patient. A good choice at medium-sized events, and at programmes where the ability to transport matters most alongside treatment.

Which one should you choose?

There is no rule of thumb, because the venue matters as much as the headcount: a festival site of several hectares is a different job from a sports pitch. After a few questions we will make a recommendation and put it in a written quote.

If a vehicle cannot reach the site, a foot patrol is the alternative — and on a larger site the two work well together.
