Health screenings

Health days and screening programmes organised and run on site – blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, ECG, body composition.

A screening is only worth doing if people actually turn up. So we take it to where they already are: the workplace, the event site, the centre of town. We handle both organising and delivering it — all the client has to give us is the place, the date and the expected headcount.

What we measure

  • Blood pressure, pulse and blood oxygen level
  • Blood sugar from a fingerstick sample
  • Cholesterol
  • ECG
  • Body composition, body mass index, waist circumference

The programme is put together to fit: a health day usually carries three or four measurements, closed off with a short talk about the results.

What organising it involves

  • Building the programme: which measurements, in how much time, for how many people
  • A site plan: how many stations are needed so that no queue builds up
  • Staff and equipment, including restocking test supplies
  • Preparing the record sheets, the information notices and the consent forms
  • Telling participants in advance what will be measured and what to expect

After the measurements

Every participant gets their own results, and we talk them through what the numbers mean. If a value needs following up we say so and recommend seeing their GP or a specialist — a screening is a signal, not a diagnosis.

The client does not receive individual results: we provide an anonymous summary from which no single participant can be identified.

Asking for a quote

Send us the venue, the planned date, the headcount and which measurements you want. We will tell you how many stations and how much time it takes, and put it in a written quote. If the programme runs at an event, a first-aid post and ambulance standby can be booked with it.

Ask for a quote for your event

Send us the date, the venue and the expected headcount – we will reply with a quote and a recommendation on the level of cover.
